Dated room with cleaning issues, but the bed was comfortable .

Unbeatable location due to the general surrounding area, all was really good. Besides, it was next to the bars, the restaurant and the Apollo, Basingstoke.

The breakfast was extensive and good hot with GF cornflakes, hot items to be replenished and black bananas to choose from...

Standard hotel, many business travellers, immediate surroundings shopping centres, car dealerships etc., city Basingstoke rather ugly, otherwise: the idyllic South of England!

The hotel was placed in the central location on a roundabout. Had a warm and spotless room with a shower, all facilities, TV, and I couldn't ask for more. The breakfast was warm, the check in was early.
Some people working there were particularly busy.

The hotel is very nice and well-equipped. The beds were surprisingly good. We slept well.
Unfortunately, the room did not have a hair dryer for drying hair after washing. The shower head has been fixed and placed high. The young ladies at the front desk looked a little dazed. Despite presentation of the receipt, we were given the invoice for another room and a different name when paying.

Clean, clean, clean!!!! And this is in England! Everything in perfect condition and the carpet clean! The swimming pool was small and full, but at least you could cool down for free and also use the whirlpool, sauna and steam bath!
The restaurant was closed - Sunday - and also the brasserie had a special menu with only 1 toast. The bathroom door should be renovated.

While you are in the Hotel, the bar prices are very expensive and the restaurant is slightly expensive.

No air conditioning in rooms. The children's playground is convenient and well-maintained. Breakfast service is slow and chaotic.

The rooms are compact but well appointed. Beds very comfortable. The free WiFi actually works well (Unlike many hotels I have stayed in that offer WiFI that turns out to be too slow to use or only work when you are close to reception!) Two restaurants offer good range of well cooked and presented food and the Library Bar is comfortable and stays open until 1:30 am. The hotel has a very large car park and is easily accessible. It's about 1.5 miles from the town centre so you could walk there, but there is a bus stop near the hotel from where you can catch a bus to the Festival Shopping Centre.
